Our home is abuzz with flying terrible towels and Steelers jerseys. But, unfortunately, the party has been canceled. My three year old came down with croup in the middle of the night last night. So, all this planning, and no party??!! Well, we've decided to have a "comfy, cozy" super-bowl. We're sporting our Steeler gear over our sweats. My sister who lives close by may stop by, in her sweats. Why not?? Sounds fun to us! As long as we're together...and we have some good food to boot! I know so many of you can relate... it's so hard to make plans with young children. They can come down with something at the very last minute! So is the life as a parent!!
Oh...and,yes...that is our Christmas tree. Still up and decorated for the Super Bowl! It is still up out of necessity, though. We have two trees at Christmas time, actually, and this one is 10ft. The box broke years ago when we moved and we then bought three tree bags to store it in. Well, one of the big bags ripped while taking it out this year, and we've been unable to find another. As soon as I do, it will be taken down. (My husband wants to keep it up all year...apparently he saw a program on the year round tree...whatever that is. Rest assured, our tree will not be
