Protecting Children through Kyle's Legacy

In memory of Kyle David Miller

3/13/02-5/29/05

Through their love for their son, Kyle's family has used their tragic loss of their little boy four years ago today, to protect countless others by promoting driving and car seat safety awareness.

The Kyle David Miller Foundation provides safe car seats to families with young children who otherwise could not afford them.

Due to a near tragic car accident "so close to home", this story and foundation is near-and-dear to my heart. We proudly "wear" our little turtle magnets on our vehicles promoting their message and have educated many about the safety of five-point harness restraints. Both of our children (including my six year old kindergartner!) are still in five point Britax Regents.

Unselfishly turning tragedy to triumph, Kyle's story has saved so many children's lives. The courage and perseverance of his family and friends by starting this foundation, and the merchants and companies that have come "on board" is such a Fine Thing and through the use of the "blogosphere" his story is still to reach many others.

The Kyle David Miller Foundation...check it out!

  1. When I first saw that video I promised myself that my kids would be in 5-point harnesses until they are old enough to drive! ;-)

I also point people to the video when I hear talk of moving to boosters "as soon as possible."
