A Roast with the Most!!

What a delicious roast we had tonight! I prepared it a different way tonight and it came out great!
(1) 2.5lb. eye round
1C. chardonnay
2T. beef bouillon
1t. onion powder
1C. water
1T. oil
carrots, potatoes, or other vegetables you want to add
Brown roast on all sides in pan with oil. Transfer roast to baking or roasting pan. Deglaze pan with chardonnay and water. Add in beef bouillon and onion powder and bring to boil.
Pour over roast. Tent roast in foil and cook in 350degree oven for (mine was 2.5 lbs) 1 hr. & 15min. (or to desired likeness)
Tonight I cooked the carrots in with the roast but roasted cubed potatoes seperately in oil and parsley.
Make gravy with liquid in pan or use for au jus. (The gravy was soooooo good!!) Enjoy!
