Finer Things Friday- Classroom Halloween Party Ideas

When I was a teacher, I had Mom's chomping at the bit to be "Class Mom". One year I even had two grown women ready to "duke it out" in my reading corner in order to capture the title! I thought to myself, this is insane! Fast forward 11 years and here I am...First Grade Class Mom!!
I have so many ideas running through my head for the Halloween Parade and Party in a few weeks, and found a few great websites that are great inspiration for healthy alternatives and better options to a sugar filled, junk food fest, as well as unique ideas for crafts and decorations!
Your Home Based Mom (not only for adorable Halloween treat ideas, but she's got wonderful recipes, craft ideas, and decorating tips!!)
Being Class Mom with so many resources available on the Internet now is so much easier... and that, to me, is a Finer Thing!!

  2. Great resources! I especially love the Teachers Corner Classroom Halloween Ideas! Thanks for sharing! So as "First Grade Class Mom", have you thought about your Halloween costume? TeachHUB ran a helpful article for classroom Halloween costume ideas if you're interested...

  3. Oh, no...I don't do costumes!! I actually dislike Halloween immensely!! (Don't tell the kids!!) Even when I was a teacher I would either wear one of my cheerleaders uniforms when I coached Varsity cheerleading at the HS, or I would be a cowgirl... nothing fancy. This year I have a Halloween pin... that's the extent of my "getup". Thanks for the tips, though!!
