We just came from a Friday morning Brunch playdate. What a nice time we had! Our hostess put out a beautiful display of food...a divine breakfast pizza with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and cheese, bagels, fruit salad, chocolate cake, and I brought a little dessert that has become one of my favorite things to bring lately. The kids played nicely together and the mom's were able to sit down and talk about life, raising children while sharing morals and values, and even talking about our lives before marriage... don't have too many friends you can share all that with!
Good friends, great coffee, and delicious food...what more can you ask for?
This playdate was definitely the finest thing of our week!
oh, that sounds like so much fun. Not many SAHMs in the tiny town area... that severely limits our playdates and social time. :( Lots of socializing at sporting events, though!
